Oxnard, CA

Mullin1Our first fly-in of the year is a trip to Oxnard to visit the Mullin Automotive Museum. The Mullin specializes in French cars of the 1920s and 1930s, but that's not all they have! The current exhibit showcases Citroen. It's a remarkable collection, and well worth the trip. There is a docent led tour at 12:00, so we'll be meeting at the GAC a little earlier than usual, at 9:30.

We'll fly in to Oxnard airport, and Mitch will have a minivan to ferry people over to the museum. It's about a 25 minute round trip, so if people don't want to wait they can pick up an Uber. Uber X lists the fare as around $11, or Uber XL (which holds up to 6 people) is around $18. After the museum, we'll head to CJ's Barbecue for lunch. CJ's is located at the west end of the airport, so it will be easy to get people back to the FBO.

You'll need to purchase your own tickets online for the museum. They must be purchased no later than the day before the trip. The cost is $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, plus around $2.50 per ticket service charge. The link to buy tickets is here. You can check out the museum online as well, at www.mullinautomotivemuseum.com. If you have any question, contact Mitch for more info.

It should be a great trip, so let's get the year started right and get flying!
