We will be staying in Williams, Arizona for our October Fly In. Williams is on probably the best part of Route 66. It still has an old town charm with most of the modern conveniences. Transportation, however is still hit and miss. We can use KFLG Flagstaff as a plan ‘B’ airport.

TRAIN CAR/CLASS: Luxury Parlor
ITINERARY:
Friday Night: Group Dinner at a local restaurant.
Saturday: Train Ride to the Grand Canyon South Rim. Depart 9:30 return 4:45 (we are booking on the Luxury Parlor Car). Pick which level you would like.
Saturday Night: On your own for dinner.
Sunday: Departure.
Train tickets can be purchased online www.thetrain.com. (best to call 800-843-8724). The Group car will be the Luxury Parlor Car. These cars seats 23 to 30 and have the outside back platform. If you choose to ride a different car, that is okay.
It is best to use 800-843-8724 to make reservations for the hotel and train.
