Our intent is for everyone to follow local Social Distancing protocols, so we request that every participant should have a mask. Also, each of us has their personal COVID protection preferences, so please be mindful of your proximity to others and wear your mask if they are required.
We have a reservation at 11 am on the outside patio. Sign up is appreciated by Thursday evening prior so we may provide a close count. The restaurant has been busy getting ready and Michelle, the owner, announced they reopened May 27th and will be fully open before July 25th, our date!
If you haven’t visited Palomar in a while there are 10 transient parking spots on the ramp by the tower. Western Flight, Inc. is next to the 10 transient parking spots near the tower and will waive their ramp fee ($25) for a 10 gallon fuel purchase. If you don’t need 10 gallons they’ve accepted a top off as well. When recently contacting Western Flight they kindly confirmed these parking options are current.
For those that feel comfortable with it, we will meet up at the GAC at 9:30 for the pre-flight briefing for Palomar. There will also be a GroupMe App group “Palomar” for up to date communication concerning the lunch Fly in. Either way, please stay in touch as plans can change unexpectedly.
