Fly-Ins
Join us for a Fly-InYou don't need a jet to join us for a Fly-In. The Del Amo Flyers put together a dozen Fly-Ins every year. These Fly-Ins originate at Torrance's Zamparini field. Our desinations are day trips to local airport restaurants (the $100 hamburger), and weerkend trips to more distant destinations with camping or hotels, and always great food and excellent company. We'll be attending the California County Fair and Frog Jumping Jubilee in Angels Camp. Mark Twain fans will recall his story of “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.” The tradition continues in Calaveras today. This is prime “California Gold Country” and there is plenty of touring and wine tasting in the area.
