Jim Morino is arranging for a DAF outing to Santa Paula for the weekend of May 18 to 20. This trip will feature a four hour train ride on Saturday that includes lunch in the dining car, set to the theme of a western murder mystery comedy.

Details include:

• Check in Friday May 18th at the Santa Paula Inn, rates $89 for a Queen to $139 for the suites, Ph. 805 933 0011. Mention DAF for $ 10 discount.
• After check-in, cocktails on the patio, then dinner at the Familial Diaz Mexican Rest, which is a short walk from the Inn.
• Saturday meet at 11:00 for ground transportation to Fillmore to board the Fillmore and Western Railroad. The train leaves at 12:00 and returns at 4:00. $61 per person, price includes lunch, bar extra. Reservations ph.805 524 2546.
• Ground shuttle back to Santa Paula. Happy Hour on the patio of the Inn, followed by Hahn/Taylor supervised bar-b-q dinner.
• Sunday check out.

The Inn is small, only 12 rooms. Early reservations are a must. Seating is also limited on the train so plan early.
