Craig and Jody Narr are planning a fun fly-in to Laughlin, NV during the weekend of April 12-14.  NOTE: it is not required that you rent a car for this event.  Here are the details:

Arrival: KIFP: Laughlin/Bullhead International. You can park at Landmark Aviation and they will set you up with a rental car. If you did not rent a car, ask Landmark to give you a lift over to the hotel, if they can't call Craig and one of us will drive over to get you. Lodging:  We have a 15 room block at the Aquarius Hotel in Laughlin. The hotel is across the river from the airport.  A standard room is $59.00. Friday evening:  Happy hour is at the Narr's room.  At 6:00 we will be taking a dinner/cruise aboard the Celebration paddle wheeler ship. This is a slow cruise up the river and back. Dinner/cruise prices range from $40.00 per person up to $43.00 if you want the prime rib dinner. The cruise takes about 2 hours. You can go to www.laughlinrivertours.com for more info. Saturday:  We will be going to Oatman, Arizona. This is an old mining town on Route 66. It has many small shops rebuilt to resemble how the town looked in the 1800's. There is also a restaurant and a saloon for a lunch break. (See www.welcometooatman.com)

I have reserved 15 passenger vans that we can drive to Oatman. These vans cost about $200.00 per day, so your exact cost will depend on how many there are in the van. If the van is full, it would be about $14.00 per person round trip. If we have a smaller group, I will get smaller (cheaper) vans. Will leave the hotel at 10:00 and return at 3:00.

For dinner you are on your own. I recommend the Vineyard Ristorante inside Aquarius Casino. This is a nice upscale Italian restaurant. There is also Outback Steakhouse inside the Casino. Please call the Casino and make your reservations, earlier the better as these two places are very popular. 800-662-5825.

After dinner we will be walking (10 min. walk) over to the Riverside Resort Hotel to see a live Johnny Cash show in the ‘Celebrity Theater’. The show starts at 8:00 and lasts about 90 minutes. Group rate is $20.00 per person, you can purchase drinks, but no food is available. When you call to make your reservations tell them that you are with the Del Amo Flyers. I have reserved 30 seats center stage so that we can all sit together. Call 800-227-3849 option #4 for the entertainment dept. to purchase tickets.

Sunday:  We are taking a side trip and flying east a short distance (70 miles) for a visit to the Grand Canyon Caverns. We will land at L37 and taxi on the dirt road to the asphalt parking area. The GCC operator will pick us up in their 10 passenger shuttle and take us up to the entrance and restaurant. We will take a tour, have lunch and then return to TOA in the early afternoon (See www.gccaverns.com)
