DAF's February Flyout is a lunchtrip to KCRQ in Carlsbad on Feb. 16.  We'll eat at the Landings Restaurant (just a short walk from transient parking at the base of the tower). Transient parking at KCRQ is limited to 10 airplanes on a first come first served basis so some of us will be going to the nearby Western Flight FBO to take advantage of free parking with the purchase of 10 gallons (prices similar to Torrance).

Meet at the General Aviation Center at 10am for a briefing of last minute details and plan for a fun outing. (Note: The organizers are contemplating that this event be the first annual "Race to Carlsbad" where the last planes to arrive at the destination must pay for parking at the "Big City FBO" amongst the jets and fancy people. Lean for peak power, not LOP.)
