Are you ready to explore a more rustic adventure fly-in for 2017? Fly-in for the weekend of August 25 – 27, 2017 to Lassen National Park near Mt Shasta. We received a good level of interest so it’s a go! Fly into Rogers Field (O05) in Chester, California and then in 40 minutes you are at the historic Drakesbad Guest Ranch in Lassen National Park. This rustic resort is located in the forest on the edge of a meadow in a lush mountain valley within short hikes of steaming fumaroles, bubbling mud pots, and many fascinating hydro thermal wonders. Activities include hiking, swimming, fishing, massage, horseback riding, and relaxing in the many lounging chairs and hammocks situated on the property overlooking the lovely valley. All accommodations are very rustic and quaint, most without electricity and with bathing in the natural hot springs private showers next to the natural hot springs fed pool. Some rooms can accommodate electrical medical devices like IPAP machines. Rates are per person and include three meals per day. Rates begin @ $147 per person per night in 2016 and include meals (Alcohol is extra). Rates are likely to increase for 2017. This fly-in will require a one night deposit per person. There are several types of rooms, but the availability is very limited. Cancellation varies but full refund of the deposit is available within 90 days of the reserved date. You will need to reserve now if you are interested. Our block of 13 rooms in only being held until June 18th, 2016, so don’t delay. Because our block of rooms will not be visible on the website, you will need to call for reservation at (866) 999-0914 and mention the Del Amo Flyers. Rental cars are limited in Chester, therefore we are working with the resort to explore other transportation options.

Since 2017 rates have not been established by the park service the table below is based on 2016 and are therefore an estimate of our final booking rates.
