DAFers Descend on Las Vegas!!! 

It may not be too late to sign up.  We have arranged for a two night stay at the MGM Grand for the weekend of Sep. 7-9.

The MGM Grand has just been remodeled and we will be staying in their deluxe rooms. The price will be $333.76 for the two night stay and that includes, tax, and their resort fee. The reservation will be held until August 7, 2012 and we will have a 48 hour cancellation window. We are also booking reservations to see Jersey Boys on Saturday night at 6:30. The cost will be $73.60 per person which is a super discounted price. Please register below if you want to go to the show because we have to pay for those tickets in advance. Please either mail your check payable to Liz Broen or bring it to the next dinner meeting.

There are a lot of great things to see and do in Las Vegas including the Hoover Dan. The Hoover Dam has two different tours for the public.

• The first tour, The Powerplant Tour, can be booked in advance and costs from $9-$11. You can buy your tickets at the Hoover Dam or go on-line. This tour is handicapped accessible and takes about 30 minutes.
• The second tour is the Hoover Dam Tour, it costs $30 per person, takes about an hour and it is not handicapped accessible. This tour cannot be booked in advance and the tickets are sold only at the Dam.
