February's dinner program featured Robert A. Johnson, Commander USN (Retired). This was a fascinating presentation. Bob described his extensive flying history, including his early years flying in Viet Nam to becoming director of the US Naval Test Pilot School at Patuxant, MD. On great story involved making 50 carrier landings in one day as part of an aircraft recertification. 50 landings in one day!
There was a good turn-out with over 50 people attended the dinner, including quite a few new members. Wayne is on a tear with respect to new membership. He keeps telling everyone that he's trying to make his quota - at some point we're going to have to tell him that the whole bonus payment thing was a just a (cruel) joke.
