Pat Carey will share stories that chronicle his multifaceted career in aviation. It is sure to fun and interesting!
Pat learned to fly at Hawthorne Airport, HHR. Attended US Army Rotary Wing Warrant Officer Flight School. He served three tours Viet Nam where he served 3 tours as a helicopter gunship pilot and later deployed to Korea and Germany.
Later Pat was a Corporate Pilot and Test Pilot for Northrop Aircraft Company flying the Gulfstream GIV, GV, and G550 aircraft.
Since 1969 Pat has been a CFI for both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. In 1990, he became an FAA Gold Seal CFI and Designated Pilot Examiner. He has administered over 4,000 FAA check-rides and has logged more than 32,000 hours.
