Santa Ynez Days and Rodeo June 21-23rd 2024

DAF will be flying to Santa Ynez to enjoy the Old Santa Ynez Day and Rodeo weekend. The Tiger Squadron will be performing both days at the Rodeo. Additionally, there are many wonderful wineries to visit for all the wine loving members.

DAF Mission Plan for the weekend

-Friday: evening dinner at Leonardo’s Cucina Italian Restaurant, Solvang, at 7:00pm
-Saturday: wine tasting at Gainey Winery (12 noon)
-Old Santa Ynez Days Rodeo Saturday, June 22 1pmJune 23 5pm. Tickets as $35/day or $50/weekend.
-Wine Tasting at your pleasure as the many wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Airport: Santa Ynez Valley Airport, KIZA.  Overnight fee $20/night for single engine

Hotel: The Royal Copenhagen Inn is located in the heart of Solvang surrounded by the finest shops, restaurant, and bakeries.

June 21-23: $279+taxes/night for standard room with 2 queen beds Continental Breakfast included.

DAF has a block of rooms that will be reserved until May 21st. Call now to book your room and indicate that you are with Del Amo Flyers. Cancellation must be made 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid one night’s room charge.

Rental Cars: Hertz Car Rental, Buellton-Santa Ynez Open Monday-Friday 805-688-4398 Hertz will drop off rental cars at KIZA airport on Friday. Sunday car rental returns maybe be left at the airport with the keys given to the airport attendant. Initially individuals will be charged through Monday, and refunded for Monday if the car is returned to the airport on Sunday.
