January 22 2022 Drive to the LAX Flight Path Museum
The Del Amo Flyers has coordinated a January 22nd event at the LAX Flight Path Museum for 25 DAFers. We have the 12 noon to 1PM time slot. We are limited by the museum to 25 people at this event, so sign up now. Please register each attendee individually so that we can keep a count to attendees.
Since the Flight Path Museum cannot block out this time frame exclusively for our group, we are getting the word out early. We suggest that everyone who wants to attend sign up as soon as possible.
Each individual attendee needs to register twice for the event: once on the DAF site, and once on the Museum's web site.
You need to sign up personally on the Museum web site and pay online, in advance. The LAX Flight Path Museum website is at: https://flightpathlax.com. The museum is located at 6661 West Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
We have set up a lunch to follow at 1:30 pm at Eureka! Hawthorne restaurant, located at Hawthorne Airport, for 25 people. There is a separate outdoor area where we will be seated with picnic tables and umbrellas. The restaurant address is 12101 S. Crenshaw Blvd., Suite 200 Hawthorne, CA 90250 (310) 331-8233.
Note: If you decide to fly in to this event (both LAX and Hawthorne airports) we promise that you will be mentioned in dispatches at our next dinner.
